Here's a fantastic playing and sounding 1984 Ibanez RS1100-BK. This is an interesting model with a little bit of internet lore. Supposedly only 100 were built for the German market only. This model is not in any Ibanez catalogs. It is essentially an RS1000 in black with black hardware and an Ebony fretboard.
The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished. The action is low and comfortable.
This comes equipped with the original Super 58 humbuckers and Sure-Grip knobs. All electronics function properly without any static or scratching.
This guitar has been played and shows - plenty of light surface scratches, a ding on the top behind the bridge and chips around the edges that have been clearly pictured. The Pro-Rock'r bridge is missing the locking clamps and tremolo arms. The G-String threaded anchor slot is broken and the anchor is missing. The other 5 anchors are available and will be included. The low E intonation screw is not original but fully functional.
The original hard case is included but is in fair condition. The top latch is broken and one side is cracked - fine for storage, not so much for protection/transport.
Again, overall a well played-in and fantastic playing/sounding and hard to find guitar at a reasonable price.
